The polaoffice+ teeth whitening system has been shown to be a safe and effective means for teeth whitening when delivered by licensed dental professionals. First Impressions Family Dentistry utilizes an effective treatment protocol that includes at home self-treat in combination with a more intense in office whitening treatment.

How does polaoffice+ whitening work?

At First Impressions Family Dentistry, the polaoffice+ procedure takes about an hour. We note the current shade of your teeth. We then make an impression of your teeth to develop a custom tray to accompany the take home kit. Now we start with the in office whitening, we apply a resin barrier to the gum areas surrounding the teeth to protect your gums from coming in contact with the peroxide gel. We then apply the hydrogen peroxide to each tooth and allow it to work for 8 minutes, then we suction away the gel from your teeth. We repeat this process 2 to 3 times for an optimal result.

After the teeth whitening process is done, we provide patients with some simple post whitening care instructions to keep your teeth looking their best for as long as possible.
